This article explains how to access and manage assignments, view player progress, and understand assignment statuses in Toptracer Coach.

Accessing assignments

You can open an assignment from:

  • The Assignments page
  • A player’s profile page

On the Assignments page, you can also create a new assignment using the New assignment button in the top-right corner.

Understanding the assignments list

Each assignment in the list shows:

  • Title
  • Start date
  • End date
  • Player completion progress bar

The progress bar reflects how many assigned players have completed all the drills within the assignment.

You may also see a red clock icon next to the progress bar. This means:

  • The assignment’s end date has passed, and
  • Some players have not completed it

From this list, you can:

  • Copy an assignment
  • Edit assigned players
  • Delete an assignment

Copying an assignment

When you copy an assignment:

  • The title, description, and drills will be pre-filled

    You’ll need to select:

    • New players
    • A new start and end date

This opens the same flow used to create a new assignment.

Editing assigned players

Click Edit players to open a dialog showing all currently assigned players.

  • Checked players are assigned
  • You can add or remove players by checking or unchecking the boxes next to the player’s name
  • Players who have already made progress on the assignment cannot be removed

Deleting an assignment

Deleting an assignment will:

  • Remove it from all assigned players
  • Not delete any sessions the players have already completed
    • Those sessions will still appear in the player's profile and session history

Viewing assignment details

Clicking on any assignment opens the Assignment details page.

Here, you can:

  • View a list of assigned players
  • Select a player to see their individual progress for each drill
  • Click on a session to open it for deeper analysis

Drill status explained

Each drill in the assignment will show a status per player:

Status Meaning
Not started The player has not completed any sessions for that drill
In progress The player has started but not yet completed all drill requirements
Completed All drill requirements have been fulfilled
Overdue The player hasn’t completed the drill, and the assignment’s end date has passed
