Viewing and managing assignments
This article explains how to access and manage assignments, view player progress, and understand assignment statuses in Toptracer Coach.
Accessing assignments
You can open an assignment from:
- The Assignments page
- A player’s profile page
On the Assignments page, you can also create a new assignment using the New assignment button in the top-right corner.

Understanding the assignments list
Each assignment in the list shows:
- Title
- Start date
- End date
- Player completion progress bar
The progress bar reflects how many assigned players have completed all the drills within the assignment.
You may also see a red clock icon next to the progress bar. This means:
- The assignment’s end date has passed, and
- Some players have not completed it
From this list, you can:
- Copy an assignment
- Edit assigned players
- Delete an assignment
Copying an assignment
When you copy an assignment:

The title, description, and drills will be pre-filled
You’ll need to select:
- New players
- A new start and end date
This opens the same flow used to create a new assignment.
Editing assigned players
Click Edit players to open a dialog showing all currently assigned players.
- Checked players are assigned
- You can add or remove players by checking or unchecking the boxes next to the player’s name
- Players who have already made progress on the assignment cannot be removed
Deleting an assignment
Deleting an assignment will:
- Remove it from all assigned players
- Not delete any sessions the players have already completed
- Those sessions will still appear in the player's profile and session history
Viewing assignment details
Clicking on any assignment opens the Assignment details page.
Here, you can:
- View a list of assigned players
- Select a player to see their individual progress for each drill
- Click on a session to open it for deeper analysis
Drill status explained
Each drill in the assignment will show a status per player:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Not started | The player has not completed any sessions for that drill |
| In progress | The player has started but not yet completed all drill requirements |
| Completed | All drill requirements have been fulfilled |
| Overdue | The player hasn’t completed the drill, and the assignment’s end date has passed |
